Banff Gondola | Photography With A Red V-Raptor
This video started as a simple question: how dark is too dark to photograph? In this episode, I head up the Banff gondola and photograph the landscape as the sun sets and night takes over. The goal wasn’t to chase perfect conditions, but to see how far I could push a low-light scene before the shadows fell apart and the image stopped holding together. As the light disappears, decisions slow down — exposure, timing, and what’s worth photographing at all. This video is a quiet experiment in low-light photography, testing limits in real conditions rather than controlled environments. If you’re interested in night photography, cinematic image-making, or exploring what modern cameras can (and can’t) do after dark, this one’s for you.
